Nail Surgery

Nail surgery is often carried out due to problematic reoccurring ingrowing to nails, it can also be carried out due to trauma of the nail and nail deformities. There are two types of nail surgery

•  Partial Nail Avulsion (part of the nail is removed)
•  Total Nail Avulsion (whole nail removed)

In both surgeries the toe is numbed with local anaesthetic, the problematic area of nail/ whole nail is removed and then treat with Phenol to stop regrowth. if you would like more information on this please contact  A&C Podiatry  we would be happy to discuss options.
